Lozi Mortar with Pressed Metal Top - Zambia
The Lozi mortar stools are sourced from Zambia. Each mortar has been used for pounding grain and maize in the communities' kitchens before being restored and repaired. They are unique in design and shape making them a one-of-a-kind piece. The wood shows beautiful signs of wear and patina. These vintage Lozi mortars have been repaired with pressed metal and are perfect as functional side tables or decorative sculptural stools for anywhere in the home.
