Tonga, or Batonga Stools as they're sometimes known, are hand-carved from a single piece of native wood by the Tonga people of Zimbabwe and Zambia. Traditionally used as portable seating by elders and nobility, these unique stools are one-of-a-kind and feature distinctive geometric shapes. As a decorative accent, they make excellent plinths for a candle or bit of coral, or simply as a standalone piece of functional art.
