These tall Dogon posts from Mali are hand-carved from timber, each with a distinctive forked top and deeply carved figures, animals and geometric bands running down the length of the surface. Their elongated proportions, weathered finish and softly worn patina give them a powerful architectural presence, while the individual carvings make each post feel like a work of art in its own right. Display them together (sold individually) as a dramatic pair in an entry, beside a fireplace or against a large wall, where they bring height, texture and an authentic sense of African heritage to the interior.
