Small Carved Bajot Low Table
These small puja tables were used to house candles and images of Hindu gods when kneeling down before them in prayer. They are made with care and a great attention to detail, handcarved and painted. The distressed colouring lends this small artwork a particular charm as though its purpose continues with its wear. It is a standalone artwork though could be used to accommodate candles and books in a living room.
