TUR1018

This vintage Turkish Konya churn has a tall, tapering silhouette with a rounded body and narrow neck, giving it the quiet drama of an old-world amphora. The softly weathered surface, with its chalky, time-worn tones and subtle markings, creates the feeling of a piece unearthed from a Mediterranean farmhouse rather than a new decorative pot. Style it on the floor beside a console or fireplace, or on a low table or wide sideboard, either left empty as a sculptural statement or with a few spare branches to keep the focus on its form and patina.
