Simple Tonga Mortar Stool - Zambia
Our simple Tonga mortar stools with a carved with a circle or ring are sourced from Zambia. Each mortar has been used for pounding grain and maize in the community kitchen, before being restored and repaired. They are unique in design and shape making them a one-of-a-kind piece. The wood shows beautiful signs of wear and patina. Make a statement, add some texture to your space. Use them as a table next to your bed, place as side tables next to a sofa or chair, or use them as an occasional stool.
